The Gallery of Photography is pleased to present the work of Liam O’Callaghan in the exhibition, I’m a Success. For this project he asked a range of individuals to shoot three scenes of their idea of what had been successful in their lives. They were supplied with cameras and what is seen in these photos is what people actually prioritise in their lives. It provides an interesting glimpse into contemporary Irish life.

About the artist: Liam O’Callaghan uses photography, projection, installation and books ranging from fine art to social documentary, in the exploration and construction of his work. Liam’s work deals with questions of what we value and why, notions of success, quality and importance.
